Meet Social Power Candidate
It all started in high school with student council. My fellow students needed representation to get a school newspaper formed and a journalism class. I was able to take action to establish both of these entities which I feel are valuable for student expression and learning. My love of writing was continued throughout college at the University of Washington in Seattle where I was the editor of student newspaper. I received my degree in Political Science and discovered a passion for preserving the freedom and entrepreneurial opportunities for Americans.
During my time in college I also worked for many small businesses and here I realized that so many of my fellow Americans have a business-oriented spirit and a fundamental desire to start a business. After graduating, I continued to pursue my interests in business, politics, and community service by running for a position in public office.
I currently am a member of the city council in Olympic, Washington and enjoy serving my fellow Olympians. I am pursing a position in the United State Congress so that I can serve all of the American people and work hard to provide everyone with a better tomorrow.
